New Junior Head Coach Announced

Bayside Ravens juniors will welcome a new Head Coach for 2012 with veteran coach Andy Miller taking the reins. Miller has been a head coach at both Northside Rhinos and Browns Plains Bears, but also has spent time as a player and member of Ravens junior coaching staff previously.

Miller takes over from Liam Flannery whose professional commitments have forced him to stand aside, with interim HC Kevin Turner focusing on the senior program in 2012.

Club Coaching Director Steve Box was pleased to have a coach of such regard in place.

"Andy brings a wealth of experience as a coach at club and state level to the team and he knows the importance of the Ravens club culture," said Box.

"With a great group of returning players, we know that this team is already a playoff calibre team and Coach Miller has proven himself to be a coach capable of getting it done," added Box.

Miller will be supported in his coaching role by assistants Ken Andres, Will Sunerton, Mitch Tierney and Matt Nugent, with veteran support from Box and Turner.
