Ravens Contingent Earn State Selection

14 Bayside Ravens players were named today in the Queensland Sundevils State Squad for upcoming National Championships contests.

The players earned selection on the back of strong efforts in a series of trials sessions, culminating today in a final scrimmage in warm conditions at Shaw Park.

The selected players represent the highest ever Ravens selections at Senior State level and likely the largest contingent of single club players in the squad.

Players chosen were: Darius Holliday-Miller, Tyson Kopiejka, Matt Lawler, Jason Leeon, Ben MacKenzie, Joel Maddock, Christian McCarty, Shannon Moen, Graham Reynolds, Jordan Seeto, Justin Stewart, Mitch Tierney, Ben Wilson, Calvin Young.

The players join coaches Ben Sinapati and Nigel Law in what should be the strongest state team in recent years.

We congratulate all players on their selection and wish them well in preparations for the opening game against ACT in March.
