Ravens Turner Over a New Leaf

As much as he dislikes a bad pun, Coach Kevin Turner hates losing, which is why he is just the man to take the Ravens Head Coaching reigns for the 2012 season.

Ravens Coaching Director Steve Box announced that Turner would be his successor for the upcoming season, as the West Australian product looks to build on his three years of Ravens playing, his long history of championship success with Rockingham Vipers in Gridiron West and his passion for the Ravens spirit to see the Birds return to the promised land in 2012.

Box was pleased to hand over the HC title to a worthy successor. "KT is just the sort of person we wanted to have in place as the figurehead for the Ravens attack on the GQ comp. He knows the Ravens spirit, culture and history and he has the leadership to unite the team moving forward".

With strong support from returning assistant coaches and a strong club structure in place, Coach Kev will be sure to kickstart his tenure immediately, lighting a fire under returning players and leading a strong recruitment effort.
